These tires are dangerous. They have been illegally refurbished. Never purchase any of these tires. Never attempt to use any of these tires on any motor vehicle. Never attempt to mount any of these tires on a wheel.

How to identify illegally refurbished tires

• Look for a Department of Transportation tire identification number, also known as a “TIN” or “DOT number,” on the sidewall of the tire.

You can see a depiction of the tire identification number in the photographs below. If you see a Falken brand tire with a tire identification number that has been partially or completely removed as shown in the photographs below, do not use the tire on any motor vehicle or mount the tire on any wheel.
